Reality television cannot be taken in as real because there are many different aspects that make it unlike the real world including the people, the settings, the forced emotions, the editing, and the scripts.
The overall idea is good. I think it will be easy to incorporate a lot of different ideas we have talked about in class. I would try to make the beginning less wordy. You can leave out the first "in". Also, maybe try to consolidate your controls into 3, but still talk about all 5 aspects.
I think your stance is firmly grounded; however it is not a debatable topic if you just say it "cannot," as opposed to saying something like it "should not" and explaining why.

The discussion will HAVE to rely completely around the word "real"
Be sure that you have a very firm concept on what is real and what is "fake", it will definitely be a valuable AND necessary object in your paper.
